Tim Eippert

Smiling bald man in business attire against a white background.

Born and raised in Ashtabula, Ohio, Tim Eippert is Chairman of the Board of Stratus, a leading facilities services and brand implementation company. In 1994, at age 24, Tim acquired a small regional sign business and steadily expanded its capabilities into a national, vendor-managed platform spanning signage and brand environments, energy services, refresh and remodel, and ongoing repair and maintenance programs. Under his leadership as Founder and CEO (1994-2024), the company grew to more than 1,200 employees and surpassed $400 million in annual revenue.

Tim pioneered an asset-light, partner-centric operating model that enables rapid scale without heavy fixed costs, supported by a nationwide network of qualified fabricators and service partners. He also led multiple acquisitions, including the combination that rebranded as Stratus in 2020, and partnered with private equity across four recapitalizations to accelerate growth and deliver liquidity events. In January of 2025, Tim transitioned from CEO to Chairman, where he focuses on governance, strategy, and continued M&A.

Tim is deeply committed to community impact. He founded The Stratus Foundation, which has raised more than $1 million to support nonprofit organizations nationwide, and he has served for more than 15 years on the Kent State University Foundation Board. Tim is also active with the Alzheimer’s Association, including leadership roles supporting its annual gala. His recognition includes Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year (Northeast Ohio) and being featured in Crain’s Cleveland Business 40 Under 40.
